Jennifer Aniston joins Salt's hot new EFM seller Miss You Already
Jennifer Aniston is newly attached to Song for Marion director Paul Andrew Williams’ new comedy-drama Miss You Already, which is generating strong buzz for UK outfit The Salt Company at the EFM. Embargo Films produces.
Salt is among the executive-producers and handles international sales, with Entertainment One pre-buying UK, Australia and Canada for “a large sum”.
BAFTA-nominated Williams scripts with popular UK actress-producer-writer Morwenna Banks.
Aniston is repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners and CAA, who also represent Williams and Banks, and are helping to package and co-represent US rights.
The film follows two lifelong friends whose cosy friendship is shredded when one falls pregnant and the other falls sick. Shoot is set for summer 2012 with the production in talks with the second role.
Producers are Christopher Simon and Felix Vossen of Embargo Films, who have Berlinale Competition entry I, Anna, and upcoming reboots The Sweeney and Pusher, which was picked by TWC during the market. Executive producers are Robert Bevan, Samantha Horley, James Norrie and Cyril Mégret for Salt, Barnaby Southcombe for Embargo, and Kristin Hahn.
The tri-territory pre-sale was negotiated by James Norrie from Salt and Jo Sweby at Entertainment One.
